Bed of Stars to Come to Peterborough with Neverending White Lights

After rocking a diverse crowd at El Mocambo on the 21 in Toronto, Bed of Stars promised Peterborough a “nice and soothing rock show” at the Red Dog on the 29th. The Peterborough stop is part of his current tour with Neverending White Lights.

Bed of Stars is Evan Konrad, a passionate vocalist, song writer, and musician from Abbotsford, BC. This is his second tour with Neverending White Lights (NWL), but this time he is promoting his own album as well, set to be released in Spring 2013.

Trent alumnas and big fan, Julia Robinson, describes his songs as “honest and truthful in a compelling  way about relationships”.

Whether you are a long-time fan of NWL or are new to Daniel Victor’s musical genius, this show has something to satisfy everyone, featuring songs from all three albums, with Konrad stepping in to sing a few, including The Grace -originally sung by Dallas Green.

They also perform songs off their new album, Black Ribbons, a more electronic rock sound with Victor’s signature darkly romantic lyrics.

“The on-stage chemistry  is entertaining to experience and draws in the audience as NWL seamlessly adapts each song for the different musicians jumping in to sing”, said Mary Dermietis, Arthur Writer 2010-11.

This stop marks Bed of Stars’ first time performing in Peterborough and NWL’s return after several years away. Get out of the cold air and into the Red Dog on Thursday to welcome these music makers, and loose yourself in beautiful music.
